Into View: Bernice Bing celebrates the Asian Art Museum’s recent acquisition of 20 paintings and works on paper that shine a light on an important local Asian American artist who has only recently gained broad recognition for her achievements. In collaboration with the Asian American Women Artists Association, Chinese Culture Center, and Kearny Street Workshop, the museum is organizing an open call installation of video and literary work, scheduled for early 2023.
Qualifying Artists and Writers: Artists of any age who reside anywhere. Artists in the nine Bay Area counties are encouraged to apply.
Format: We are presenting video works and literary material.
Video submission formats: MP4, 1920 x 1080 or 4K. Maximum run time for video: 5 minutes.
Written submission formats: PDF, maximum of 250 words.
Prompt: Modern and contemporary art was deeply influenced by art in Asia, including landscape, calligraphy, abstraction, and minimalism. In tribute to the Bernice Bing exhibition and collection at the Asian Art Museum, we ask video artists and writers: what is contemporary art through a lens of Asian and Asian American art and cultures?

公開徵集多媒體與文學作品
舊金山亞洲藝術博物館最近收藏了20余幅李玉冰 (Bernice Bing) 的油畫與紙上畫作，並為其舉辦《初見：李玉冰》(Into View: Bernice Bing)。這些作品的館藏，讓大眾認識到了一位重要的亞裔美籍藝術家，近年才因其藝術成就和社區不懈的推動而獲得廣泛認可。
展覽開幕之際，舊金山亞洲藝術博物館也將於 2023年初與亞裔女藝術家協會(Asian American Women Artists Association)、舊金山中華文化中心 (Chinese Culture Center) 以及克尼街工作室 (Kearny Street Workshop) 合作，組織一個多媒體與文學作品的展覽公開徵集。
徵集多媒體藝術：現今的當代藝術，包括風景、書法、抽象與極簡主義無不深受亞洲藝術的影響。舊金山亞洲藝術博物館在收藏李玉冰作品並舉辦展覽對其藝術成就致敬的同時，也將透過這個徵集項目向媒體藝術家與作家們提問：「從亞洲與亞美藝術及文化的角度來看，到底什麼是當代藝術？」

A La Vista: Bernice Bing (Into View: Bernice Bing) celebra la adquisición del Museo de Arte Asiático (Asian Art Museum) de 20 obras de pintura y trabajos en papel que ilumina una importante artista local Asiática Americana quién solo últimamente ha ganado un amplio reconocimiento por sus logros. En colaboración con la Asociación de Artistas Asiáticas Americanas (Asian American Women Artists Association), el Centro de Cultura China (Chinese Culture Center), y el Taller de Trabajo de Kearny Street (Kearny Street Workshop), el museo está organizando una convocatoria abierta de instalación de medios y obras literarias, prevista para principios de 2023.
Aviso: El arte moderno y contemporáneo fue influenciado profundamente por el arte de Asia, incluyendo paisaje, caligrafía, abstracción y minimalismo.
